Paulding-Putnam Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a member-owned, member-controlled nonprofit electric distribution utility located in northwestern Ohio. PPEC recently built a new facility on McDonald Pike.Rd.
PPEC chose Torrence a specialty systems contractor from Perrysburg, Ohio with more than 80 years of experience to design and build electronic systems to ensure the safety, security and reliability of the new PPEC facility. The systems Torrence provided include the latest in addressable fire alarm and detection system by Honeywell Notifier, a Lenel door security, access control, and intrusion detection system fully integrated to Salient Systems IP video. Any security event in and around the new PPEC facility including gate opening, access to doors granted and motion flags events in a network based video viewing client and alerts staff. Through a secure software application the video can be accessed any where by authorized personnel even using mobile smart phones.
Torrence Sound Equipment Co. also provided crestron controlled audio visual systems and video conferencing equipment for PPEC’s new training and conference center.
