When used with a Telecenter Communications System, the WCD256W can provide a class change countdown timer that minimizes student tardiness and increases staff productivity.

The WCD256W includes a count-down timer alarm output that activates for three seconds when the timer reaches zero.

The WCD256W uses the licensed 467MHz radio frequency to receive time synchronization signals. With four brightness levels and three alternating date and time display options, the WCD256W can be used in nearly any clock application.
