Innovative AV Solutions Enhance Worship at One Church Home

As reported in Worship AVL’s article “One Church Home Elevates Its Worship Experience with IPS,” One Church Home in Fairview has significantly enhanced its worship environment through a comprehensive upgrade of its audio, video, lighting, and acoustics. Integrated Production Solutions (IPS) spearheaded the new-build project, focusing on creating a sophisticated main auditorium and video control room that would meet the church’s evolving needs. Senior Pastor Ian Gilchrist emphasized the importance of finding a partner, not just a vendor, and praised IPS for their adaptability and attention to detail throughout the project. 

IPS CEO Nicholas Brown expressed pride in the project, noting that their commitment to innovation resulted in an AV setup that far exceeded the ordinary, providing One Church Home with a truly immersive worship experience. The project aimed to deliver clear audio intelligibility, striking visuals via a large LED display, programmable lighting, and an engaging atmosphere for the congregation. Over the 18-month timeline, IPS focused on future-proofing the AV infrastructure, ensuring that it could support the church’s growing community and needs.

The installation featured d&b audiotechnik components, including Yi8 and Yi12 loudspeakers, KSL-SUB subwoofers, and 40D and 10D amplifiers for superior audio quality. The video system was bolstered with Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast cameras, a 2 M/E Switcher, and squareV Vi2.9 Surface Mount LED Panels, creating a dynamic visual experience. The lighting system was upgraded with a grandMA3 compact console and Elation FUZE PENDANT fixtures, allowing for versatile lighting designs. Simplified Acoustics provided custom acoustic treatments to enhance the auditorium’s sound quality. Throughout the project, IPS maintained a focus on integrating these advanced technologies while managing costs effectively.

Nicholas Brown highlighted the project’s success as a result of IPS’s ability to adapt and overcome challenges, whether facing unexpected issues or evolving requirements. This adaptability ensured that the final result aligned perfectly with One Church Home’s vision of creating an engaging and participatory worship space.
