How Advanced Cameras Are Enhancing Campus Safety
As reported by Campus Safety Magazine in their article, “Liberty University Upgrades Its Security Cameras,” the Office of Security and Public Safety (OSPS) at Liberty University has completed the first phase of a significant expansion of its campus video surveillance system.
This phase included the installation of over 1,000 new security cameras at high-traffic outdoor areas and all building entrances and exits. The initiative follows previous security enhancements, including the installation of call boxes in 2022 and an upgrade to the university’s emergency operations and dispatch center in 2023.
